CSR management in coffee, tea and spices


Acomo is an international group of companies that trades and distributes natural agricultural products. Their history is rooted in the Dutch trade in “colonial products” including coffee, tea, nuts, herbs and spices. With a global supply chain and increasing awareness of potential sustainability risks, the group saw the need to professionalize its CSR management.

This is the background of my assignment to support the company in professionalizing its management of CSR and sustainability issues and risks. The project included identifying priority sustainability issues, developing a CSR strategy at holding and operating company level, and supporting the clients CSR manager in her own professional development.
